not so goodSeptember 6, 2010 stu My daughter liked the hair straightener for two weeks, then it quit working!!! She is in college, so she had to send it to me, due to paperwork, $13.00, I sent it to the company, $8.00, the company is sending a new one, I have to resend to my daughter, $8.00. The $90.00 item is now $119.00!!! Hope the new one lasts!!!
Dedicated CHI user!September 2, 2010 Anne M. Branch(Cleveland, OH USA) This is my second Chi that I've bought and will only use these from here on out. I had to replace the one I burned out while traveling overseas (should have checked the voltage at the hotel before plugging it in!). They are great products, last a long time. I had had my first one 3 years and it was as good as the day I bought it until I surged it. These are the best flat irons!

Lewis(Beautiful Pensacola, Fl) As we know these are expensive flat irons - I dropped mine after a few months and the plastic on/off piece came out - I got it on with a paper clip then after the next drop off the vanity - that was it - Never worked again - It was good while it worked -
constantly breaksAugust 18, 2010 cdunton I've bought three Chis directly (brand new) from Amazon over the past three years. I use it about twice a week, and had one die on me each year. I thought maybe it was just bad luck after the first time, and maybe even the second, but several friends of mine have had the same experience. I finally wised up and bought the Metropolis on Costco.com (only $63 too). it's wonderful! My hair is much smoother, and it has a temperature adjustment. Don't waste your money on a Chi.
