Clumpy and Flacky December 16, 2008 Sandra (H2O town, Ma) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did not like this product at all ! The mascara did not go on smoothly, it was clumpy and required me to use a brush to make it look "somewhat" natural, it's very heavy masacra. At the end of the day I had little black flakes under my eyes.
Would like a little more waterproofing December 16, 2008 Linda P (Maui, HI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This gets 4 stars instead of 5 because it does occasionally run and it takes a while to dry. If I blink too quickly after putting it on, I have to clean it from underneath my eyes. All in all, though, it's a great mascara. It goes on easily without the clumping that I've found in many mascaras, and you can build up coats to get the desired thickness that you want.
i love it December 3, 2008 fashionista (bay area, ca) For a non-waterproof mascara, this is my most favorite. It leaves my lashes looking thick and beautiful. I think some of the reviewers are confusing natural lashes with fakes because they seem to think that they can find a mascara that leaves their lashes looking super rich and hairy. This is not possible with any mascara alone. You need to add fake lashes to your lash bed and apply mascara to both your natural and fake lashes in order to achieve that look. While its true that the mascara does flake a bit, its no different than any other mascara out there in that regard. What I like about this mascara is how it applies thanks to the thick wand inside. The trick to a good mascara is not only how thick it is but also what type of a tool it comes to work with. This one happens to have a 5 star wand hence the price. For a waterproof mascara, I suggest looking into Kiss Me mascara. It takes a bit to get used to but overall its an A+ as well.
Like it but it irritates my eyes and flakes November 23, 2008 Emma (Glenside, PA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had high hopes for this, but it turns out to be equal to many drugstore brands that I have tried. L'oreal Voluminous, in my opinion, is very similar to this product. I didn't like the overall feel of the mascara. It seemed heavy and tiny particles went into my eyes. I won't purchase this one again.
Overpriced - $5 mascaras do just as well as this one November 16, 2008 LMY (SC) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
So far, I believe I have tried most mascaras out there and the best results I've had were based on what girls at the high-end make-up counter shared: Clinique lash builder base with Lancome mascara over it. I truly did get great results from that combo but was hoping when I tried this I could get the same results in one product. Overpriced because of the name - like other reviewers posted, this product offers nothing more than the stuff you could find at Walmart for <$5.
