The best!!March 9, 2010 Mary(Saugus,MA) I've had my CHI for about 8 years and just recently am experiencing a cord problem. It turns on but turns off when I start to move it around. So I'm interested in buying a new one. I did pay about $130 for the first one but funds are tight these days and I'm thinking about ordering one from Amazon- I was skeptical about the deep discount but maybe thats just a chance I have to take.

Faulty ConditionMarch 5, 2010 John Galt(Denver, CO) We purchased the Farouk Chi 1 Inch Ceramic Iron. It came in packaging that appeared to have been opened which was surprising since the listing said it was new.
The iron itself works but for a glitch I've never experienced with other Farouk CHI's. I have to hold it upside down to make it hot. If I set it flat on a countertop it immediately gets cold again.
Tried to contact the seller w/ no success, hopefully this review will promote a contact.
